RECOUNT
AS I GET READY FOR THE RACE (EVEN THO IM NOT RACING OF COURSE)
I FEEL A SENSE OF DREAD RUNNING DOWN MY SPINE (ha see what I did there)
BECAUSE SPECTATING IS 1 THING BUT DOING IT LIVE IS ANOTHER (EVEN THO THATS HOW THEY ALWAYS DO IT)AS I SIT DOWN IN MY COZY CHAIR I HEAR THE OTHER SPECTATOR TELL ME TO “GET READY”.
THEN IT HITS ME THE RACE IS ABOUT TO BEGIN.
I GRASP MY MICROPHONE AND START SHOUT AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS.
FOR MY AMAZEMENT GOT THE BEST OF ME AS I SAW USAIN BOLT GLIDE DOWN THE TRACK.
IT WAS LIKE HE WAS RUNNING ON AIR.
BUT THEN I WAS KICKED OUT IMMEDIATELY BECAUSE THE GUARD THOUGHT I WAS HAVING A MENTAL BREAKDOWN.
And THAT THE STORY OF HOW I GOT FIRED.👍👍👍
AlSO HERE'S WHAT THE RINGS MEAN
"A white background, with five interlaced rings in the centre: blue, yellow, black, green and red ... is symbolic; it represents the five inhabited continents of the world, united by Olympism, while the six colors are
those that appear on all the national flags of the world at the present time."
This man created the rings
The symbol of the Olympic Games is composed of five interlocking rings, coloured blue, yellow, black, green, and red on a white field. This was originally designed in 1912 by Baron Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympic Games.⇑
